How many event porta potties do I need?
Plan 1 standard porta potty per 50 guests for an event up to 4 hours. Over 4 hours, add half again, rounded up. Add 1 more if alcohol is served. A 200-guest, 6-hour festival with beer needs 7 units: 4 for the crowd, 2 for the long day, 1 for the beer garden.

What does Mendocino County require for event restrooms?
Mendocino County Environmental Health asks community events with food for at least 1 toilet and 1 handwashing facility per 100 patrons, and 1 toilet per 15 food workers within 200 feet of each food booth, per the Mendocino County event application. Our planning rule is higher because lines form fast at peak times.

Where should an event porta potty go?
Set event porta potties on level ground near the action but downwind of food and seating, with a lit path for evening use. Group them in one or two clusters so guests find them, keep the accessible unit on a firm route, and put hand wash stations right beside the toilets.

Can I rent a porta potty for just one day?
One-day rentals are our most common event booking. The unit is dropped the day before and picked up the next business day. The price is a flat event rate, not a daily rate, because the cost is mostly the delivery and pickup trips.
Can you deliver to a campground or a church for a weekend event?
Terra Porta Rentals delivers to campgrounds, churches, parks, ranches and private land. Give us the site name, gate details and where the units should stand. Weekend events drop Friday and pick up Monday.
What happens if my event gets rained out?
Cancel more than 48 hours before delivery for a full refund; within 48 hours, you are refunded minus the delivery charge. If the units are already on site, you pay the event rate but no extra service fees. See the rental terms for details.
Do you service porta potties during a multi-day festival?
Multi-day events get on-site service: pumping, cleaning and restocking each morning before gates open. We price the visits up front based on crowd size and hours.
