California farm crews need one handwashing facility per 20 workers, at or near the toilet, under Cal/OSHA 8 CCR 3457. California construction sites need one washing station per 20 employees under Cal/OSHA 8 CCR 1527. Mendocino County events with food need at least one handwashing facility per 100 patrons, per the county's community event application (Mendocino County event application).

Does the hand wash station have warm water?
Our standard stations use cool fresh water, which meets the field-sanitation rules for farm crews. Mendocino County's event guidance asks food events for hot and cold running water at food-worker sinks, so food vendors usually bring their own heated sinks. Ask us if your event needs warm water and we will tell you what we can supply.
Can I rent a hand washing station without a porta potty?
Hand wash stations rent on their own for food booths, school events and farm stands. Adding it to a porta potty order shares one delivery charge, so it costs less.
