Shelter Cove is unincorporated Humboldt County land with its own resort improvement district for water and sewer. Ask the district or county about placement on road frontage before delivery. How Shelter Cove weather and terrain affect your rental
Shelter Cove Road has steep grades and tight turns that limit truck size, and fog often keeps the road damp. Lots face strong ocean wind, so every unit is leveled on blocks where needed and anchored before the driver leaves.
